This research was done for studying the developmental stages of ovule in <em>Ranunculus arvensis</em> and comparing with other reported taxa in this family. <br />Material and methods: Flowers and young buds were collected in different developmental stages, fixed in FAA₇₀and stored in 70% ethanol. Specimens were sliced using microtome after dehydration and embedding in the paraffin wax and stained. Developmental stages of ovule and embryo sac were studied and photographed using a light monitoring microscope. <br />Results: Results showed that the ovule is anatropous, unitegumic with 4 or 5 layers and full-nucellus. Embryo sac development is followed monospori and polygonum type. Increasing of antipodal cells and in some cases increasing of synergids were observed. Also their nuclei were polyploid. Archeosporial cells were surrounded by callosic wall after their formation. <br />Megaspore's tetrads had linear and T-shaped ornamentations. Embryo sac was large with irregular shape and considerably grows longitudinal in its maturation step. <br />Discussion: Results showed that although the overall pattern of ovule development in the studied species is similar to previous reports, but the tetrad arrangement, increasing of antipodal and synergid cells, and the presence of Hypostase, Postament and Nucellar Cap is the specific characteristic for this species. <br />  <br />  هدف: مطالعه تکوین مادگی وگامتوفیت ماده در علم گیاه شناسی و تاکسونومی گیاهی اهمیت دارد. این پژوهش به منظور مطالعه مراحل تکوین تخمک  در گیاه <em>Ranunculus arvensis</em> L. و مقایسه با سایر تاکسون‏های گزارش شده این تیره، انجام شد.<br />مواد و روش‏ها: گل‌ها و غنچه‌ها در مراحل مختلف نمو برداشت، در FAA₇₀  تثبیت و در الکل 70 درصد  نگهداری شدند. نمونه‌ها پس از آب‌گیری و قالب‌گیری در پارافین با میکروتوم برش‌گیری و رنگ آمیزی شدند. مراحل تکوین تخمک و کیسه رویانی با استفاده از میکروسکوپ نوری بررسی و عکس برداری شد.<br />نتایج: نتایج نشان داد که تخمک واژگون، تک پوسته‌ای با ۴ یا ۵ لایه و پر خورش است. تکوین کیسه رویانی از طرح تک اسپوری و تیپ پلی‌گونوم پیروی می‌کند. افزایش یاخته‌های آنتی پود، و در برخی از نمونه‌ها افزایش یاخته‌های قرینه نیز مشاهده شد. همچنین هسته آن‏ها حالت پلی‌پلوئیدی داشت. آرکئوسپورها پس از تشکیل، به وسیله لایه کالوزی احاطه شده بودند. پس از تقسیم میوز، تترادهای مگاسپور آرایش خطی و T شکل داشتند. کیسه رویانی بزرگ و با شکل نامنظم بوده و در جریان بلوغ، رشد طولی قابل توجهی پیدا می‏کند.<br />نتیجه گیری:  نتایج نشان داد که اگر چه الگوی کلی تکوین تخمک در گونه مورد مطالعه شبیه به موارد گزارش شده قبلی است ولی آرایش تترادها، افزایش سلول‏های آنتی پود و قرینه و وجود هیپوستاز، پوستامنت و کلاهک خورشی در تخمک، از ویژگی‏های خاص گونه گیاهی مورد مطالعه است.<br />  https://jct.araku.ac.ir/article_1982_fb87582825f9d28a8d42c5e5e5e8b23d.pdf
